Traveling T-Shirt

The Traveling T-shirt project is a continuation of the Visible History project, which  started a few years back to unearth American History.  I've been thinking a lot about my contributions towards sustainability.  My epiphany has lead me here; removing mass production from my work streams and only reworking repurposed items for my apparel releases.  I sewed 8 repurposed Visible History portraits to a unisex shirt (size L).  My missions is that  the shirt will travel across the country; one shirt, one goal and together we can celebrate one another, both past and present.  This project is a communal effort about trust, unity, and sustainability.  If you are interested in participating in this project please reach out to me via emai, hello@ashleybuttercup.com, for next steps.   By participating you are celebrating and participating in history.
